Chloe rock snake 2
Chloe Rock Snake 1

A rock snake started by an eight year old boy in St Andrews Parish to bring together the community now has a permanent home around the play area of Standen Way in St Andrews Parish. Chloe was unveiled to a crowd of local children and parents on Saturday 27th August 2022.

Back in Summer 2020, during the Covid Lockdown, Oliver decided to paint rocks and make Chloe the rock snake along a path on the roman field in St Andrews. He invited friends to join him as he thought it would be fun and wanted to make people smile.

When the rock snake reached over 1000 painted stones Oliver’s mum approached St Andrews Parish Council to have them put on display in the local vicinity and where they can be best seen by residents and children alike. With the permission of Swindon Borough Council, St Andrews Parish Council installed Chloe around the border of Standen Way play area.
